It’s summertime and I want to be at the beach, to have to be somewhere at a certain time? No! This course is designed so that you can do everything at your own pace! You’ll be given a course outline and training materials to work through each week. You can go through these materials any time you like, night or day. As you go through them, if you have questions, all you need to do is simply ask your question via email or our online forum and I will personally answer.
Why would I want to give my content away for free in a webcast? The more you prove your value (Yes, even with your best content) to a prospective client the more they will want to buy your speech, seminar, book, CD’s, coaching, or consulting. Today clients can get information like your on the Internet. You need to PROVE that your message, style of delivery, experience, knowledge is unique, valuable, and perfect for them. They won’t know that by reading your web site, you have to prove it and Webcasts are the perfect way to get their attention and prove your value.
What if I only have a small contact list? We all have to start somewhere. We have clients with a list of only 200 people that had 15% registrations. You will find that webcasts are also a great way to grow your list.
What hosting platform are you using? We were using Meeting Burner, but we have also experience with gotomeeting and instant teleseminar. Many of the features are the same on the different platforms and are quiet easy to learn. We are focusing on the preparation, invitations, and success of your webcast. The actual platform you want to use if up to you.
What email management service are you using? An email management service is where you save the name and email of your clients so you can send them emails and autoresponder emails when they reply. If you do not have an email management system, we recommend Mail Chimp (free for less than 2,000 contacts).
What equipment will I need? You only need a headset microphone to get started and you will need an account with an email management service (like Mail Chimp, see above) and a webcast hosting platform (like Meeting Burner, see above).
What is involved with your First-timer Webcast Start up Consulting? We have helped other experts to launch their first webcast, from design to follow up. Sarah Esch, in our office will coach you on your email invitations, online set up for registrations, and even be on the call with you. This is a great way to launch your first webcast and to learn how to do it on your own.

Each week you will have some training videos to watch, worksheets to complete, and planning on your own. In addition, Hugh will be inviting you to a 90 minute group call that will include additional lessons and Q&A. The goal is that you will be mapping out your first event as you take the course.
